Today I was listening to a few Music producers on "Youtbe" and they really inspired me. I haven't really been making any beats lately because of school and church I haven't had time to, but I really need to make time. I think before I go to work today I'll work on a lil somethin. I just got tired of all the music thats being played today. People used to make music because they love to, but now it's all about the money and the love for music is fading. I miss those days where I could listen to a whole cd with hearing how much money someone makes or how many girls they can get and jewlery. can we please have someone that talks about real life things and leave all that tangible stuff out of there songs. Now I'm a hardcore christians so if theres no good message behind the song, I see no reason to listen to. It's just bad to listen to the radio and hear how there promoting drugs, violence, sex and money. that why alot of these young kids know to much for thier age. I'm just prayin for a change because the world has the worng definition of "real music". I bet they'll pick lil wayne over John Mayer or solijah boy over Crossmovement. it seems to me that meanings are thrown away and nonsense gets all the play.

I agree. I think you should delve into music. It's being neglected -- just the same redundant, churned-out, material-excess ridiculousness. Real genres are lost due to greedy producers and labels taking away any sense of artistic integrity that's left over.
ReplyDeleteI like that last line there, by the way... "...meanings are thrown away, and nonsense gets all the play." That's lyrical in itself!
